Not to mention that taking the time to do preventative maintenance services will save you time, money, and many headaches down the road. Here's a helpful guide for your yearly auto maintenance:
- Every month, be sure to do the basics: -Check the condition of your tires -Check your tire pressure -Check your windshield washer fluid level -Give your vehicle a quick overall cleaning
- Every 3 months (or 3,000 miles), you should: -Examine the fluid levels of your automatic transmission, power steering and brakes -Check the battery, belts, hoses and cables -Make sure the exhaust, fuel and engine filters don’t need to be replaced
- Every 6 months (or 6,000 miles), be sure to: -Replace the windshield wipers -Check the chassis lubrication
- Every 12 months (or 12,000 miles), make sure you: -Have the brakes, steering, suspension, spark plugs and coolant examined and replaced or repaired, if necessary.
